Forest floor Lodge Reviews
Good morningWe have recently visited your lodge and thought you may appreciate some feedback on our stay. We have visited a similar lodge in the Amazon and see similar concepts being employed at your lodge.
Positives:
Great concept
The guide we had to take us on day 1 was really knowledgeable about the birds in the area and we saw many species
The staff were pleasant
Negatives
We missed our night safari because the guide left without us although we arrived at the designated time, this was not communicated to us but it was suggested we just wait and see what happened. I had confirmed the tour and departure time in the afternoon with lodge staff
Toilet in tent became blocked
Lodge staff really struggle with basic English needed to order food or drinks.

We stayed at Forest Floor for four days in September 2010. It is the most impressive place I've been in Vietnam so far. To my knowledge there is nothing like this in the whole country. High standard accommodation, friendly staff, great food and above all an overwhelming nature! If you want to experience one of the few places with original tropical wildlife left in Vietnam, Forest Floor is definitely the place to go!Date of Posting: 04 July 2011

We stayed in the River view tent which was a first class safari type tent with bedroom bathroom and veranda on the rive banks. My partner who is an avid bird watcher took a guided early morning tour and was completely wrapped up in the sight seeing. Well worth extra travel to get there.Date of Posting: 24 May 2011

I loved being here when the butterflies where around, Some many colours and types and that was just to start, I visited the Go East Project on the island opposite who take Gibbons from people to release back into the wild and then I visited the free the bears facility next to park HQ, The night safari had many Samba deer and civet and the Crocodile lake is a wonderful place to sit back relax and admire the beautiful views. As for the bird life, as you can image with all those butterflies they had many birds species which are best viewed from a boat on the river as the jungle is rather dense. The staff were so friendly that I even got a couple of tears when I left which is why I can say I left a little piece of heart in Forest Floor lodge and hope to see them again soon.

Had a fantastic time at Forest Floor Lodge. I am a professional photographer and have been traveling to Cat Tien for some years for wildlife shoots however since the opening of this lovely resort I now have a perfect base with an added touch of Luxury.
