Forest Floor Lodge Booking Terms & Conditions
Online Bookings.
By placing a booking online at www.bookings.forestfloorlodge.com it is done so on the understanding that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions. A booking is not secured unless a deposit has been made and cleared.
Confirmation of Reservation
Our online booking system automatically sends your a confirmation email that your booking has been made and assumed that a deposit payment of 20% of your reservation price has been cleared with our payment processors. In the event that your payment has not been cleared we will do our best to contact you but failure to clear the deposit within 24 hours of your reservation your booking will be cancelled.
Arrival and Departure proceedure
Check in time 13.00hrs - check out time 12.00hrs (noon) Forest Floor Lodge will do its best to have rooms available for early arrival when notified. Late check out or day use is available at an extra charge of 50% of the contracted rate for each room occupied until 18.00hrs. A full night contract rate will be will apply for full use of the room after 18.00hrs.
Cancellation
Should you wish to cancel your booking the following charges will be incurred. Any payments returned will be less charges incurred to us by our bank.
More than 7 days prior to your arrival : Full refund of deposit.
less than 7 days before your arrival : 100% of deposit retained
Optional extras
Forest floor lodge will do our best to supply any optional extras that you may ask for such as Extra beds/baby cots/special meals etc but subject to availability and may involve additional costs.
Environmental Considerations
ForestFloorLodge is situated well away from power lines, and we are obliged to run a diesel generator to produce electricity (220 v., 50 Hz); this inevitably has a significant "carbon footprint". In order to reduce environmental impact, especially during the cooler seasons, we normally turn off the generator during the following times:
- Day: 08:30 to 13:00
- Night: 23:30 to 06:00
- Clients are provided with strong, re-chargeable lanterns overnight, for each unit.
However, should anybody request that mains electricity be provided during these periods, we will of course turn the generator on.
Risks & dangers
Tours are made available for your enjoyment and convenience, but taken at your own risk; visitors are advised to hold adequate travel insurance when visiting Nam Cat Tien National park and Forest Floor lodge. Every effort is made to provide adequeate safety precautions for our customers however, Forest floor lodge will not be held responsible for loss or damage to personal property or mishaps to yourself in particular those arising from the surrounding environment during trekking taken with or without the supervision of Forest floor lodge, its agents or representatives.
Greivances
Grievances will not be accepted unless reported to hotel management within 48 hours of the instance.
